Into the Abyss . . .

All three year 4 classes have now discovered the Abyss and ventured into it. It's really dark and creepy down there (100 meters below sea level)and there are hundreds of new species that we can find. In the Comments: What have we found in the Abyss so far? What do yoou think could be down there?

    We think the abyss is cool since we all will find whales,squids,sharks as well as mysterious fish!`

    We found a sperm whale, but we did not catch it, but we might catch it the next time we find it again.

    BTW our secondary school students just returned from a week long trip to Mafia Island (North of Zanzibar) where they got to swim with whale sharks!
